About Us
Little Rascals Child Care Inc. opened its doors on March 13, 2006.
Today the centre is licensed for 115 children.

The centre provides educational, fun activities that are guided by Play based learning through “How Does Learning Happen”, the Ontario Pedagogy for the Early Years. Educators embrace the enjoyment of dress up, mud days and other messy activities and observe the children to enhance a child’s play and interest.
Each room from Infant to School Age is decorated and organized to provide a safe learning environment where children can explore and experiment.

Each room is spacious, bright and set up with activities to challenge their cognitive abilities through play.
The centre has access to a full-sized gym for inclement weather days. There are 3 large fenced areas for the children to play outside and a large grassy area behind the centre for the children to have nature excursions in a safe protective environment. This area also has a cabana and picnic tables to have outdoor snacks or lunch.
Philosophy
“To encourage and nurture a child’s natural curiosity to become more aware of themselves and to explore their environment to allow for spontaneous learning
through play in a safe, loving atmosphere. Our Centre pledges to promote good
health, to provide physical activities, to cognitively challenge a child’s reasoning
abilities and to foster a positive self-image in their development through the current
emergent curriculum and How Does Learning Happen.”
